The Women's Board has a rich history of generosity, beginning with their initial gifts of 12 rocking chairs, followed by bed sheets and 12 pairs of slippers, all voted on by The Women's Visiting Board as they were originally called. Over the years, these contributions have evolved from simple essentials to sophisticated medical equipment and programs that enhance patient care. Today, the Women's Board continues to make a significant impact by funding innovative projects and initiatives reflecting their enduring commitment to the health and well-being of the community Their dedication not only honors the past but also shapes a brighter future for the hospital and its patients.
